The Forum of Political Appointees under the Capt. Wada administration (2012-2016) has congratulated Alhaji Alfa Halilu on his appointment as Chairman of the Kogi State Secretary’s Forum.
In a statement released to journalists in Lokoja, Hon. Austine Alaba, a representative of the forum, described the appointment as “a round peg in a round hole.”
“Alhaji Alfa Halilu is a manager of men and resources whose leadership qualities cannot be overemphasized. One thing you cannot take away from Alhaji Alfa Halilu is his undiluted loyalty to a just cause,” the statement read.
As a seasoned and loyal politician, Alhaji Halilu is expected to bring his wealth of experience to bear on this new role, having previously served as Special Assistant and Senior Special Assistant to two former Kogi State governors.
While praying for God’s guidance as Halilu assumes his new position, the forum expressed confidence that his leadership would take the Secretary’s Forum to greater heights. They urged him to accept their highest regards as he prepares for the task ahead.
