Often, the wonderful people of Kogi East have gotten politicians whose goals are geared towards building political ambition and clamoring for financial breakthroughs via mismanaging and embezzling the entitlement of the masses, but in the philosophy of High Chief Peter Ojonugwa-Ameh, he dared to be different and has so far created a different dimension of leadership and set across examples of his purposeful leadership to the wonderful people of Kogi State and Nigeria at large with or without assuming public office.
The majority have seen and heard of his remarkable selfless service to humanity. High Chief Peter Ojonugwa-Ameh has consistently remained steadfast in tapping into the idea and encouraging physically challenged people, and students, and also creating job opportunities for young people. All these he achieved even without holding an elected office.
Whoever has worked closely with him will concur with his Godly disposition as a politician, a trait lacking in many of our leaders today.
To him, his interest should be jettisoned for the mass’s interest.
If leadership is a person, the people would have projected his iconic face, and character to symbolize it.
High Chief Peter Ojonugwa-Ameh is a Kindhearted Man who pays attention, listens to ears, and remains a problem-solving-oriented national guru.
“The selfless man from the east” never belittles the trust he has for his people, he is loyal and committed to young people, and understands core values and respect. Harbors the zeal to support both old and young people.
Just after the 2023 General Election, as political tradition demands for some of our politicians who will go back to their base and most especially when the result is not in their favor, “The selfless man from the east” was stronger than before and never left, he spent quality time with his people plotting concrete strategies to encourage his people even without a victory at the poll for Ankpa Federal Constituency.
He is a national product, he is made yet he came down to show our people leadership.
If we have twice High Chief Peter Ojonugwa-Ameh, “The selfless man from the east”, our people will be swimming in the desires they have long for in years.
