The forum of Secretaries to the local government councils (SLG) in Kogi State on Wednesday, 14th February, 2024 expressed their condolences to Hon. Bashir Gegu, Commissioner for Solid Minerals in the state on the death of the Patriach of the family.
The news of Baba’s death came as a rude shock. Baba left us at the time his wise counsel in the development of Kogi State is needed
However, we found solace in the proper upbringing of the children which the testimony is obviously obvious and manifestly manifest in Hon Bashir Gegu.
As the body of Baba is laid to rest, we pray Allah SWT to grant his soul Aljanat firdaus and the family the fortitude to bear the irreplaceable loss.
