Sources close to the late Media Strategist have confirmed that he passed away late Thursday evening at India , where he had been receiving treatment for an undisclosed ailment. Mr. Gusau, a former Daily Trust Correspondent, served as the media adviser to the former governor of Borno State,now Vice President Kashim Shettima, for eight years, and was re-appointed to the same position by his successor.
Governor Radda stands in solidarity with Governor Zulum during this challenging time. The loss of Malam Isa Gusau is deeply felt, and our thoughts are with the Borno State Government and the family of the departed.
