It is shameless to see people who could not deliver their polling unit struggling for Caretaker and other appointments in Kogi State, where the Governorship election has just been concluded.
In a statement signed by Dr. Ibrahim Azees, the groups Director of Operations, the group insisted that, the idea of rewarding Monkeys for works done by Baboons is most unfortunate and may be the last time such will happen as the Baboons are now wiser, adding 5hat even unperforming councilors and appointees are boasting around that they are slated for Caretaker Committees.
The most painful is those who were given millions to disburse to party leaders and stakeholders and those paid their salaries to go home and make the people happy, but couldn’t do that and all they did was pocket the money at the detriment of the party and caused the party members to work in pains, covering up for their anomalies and their abysmal failure in representing Government at the local levels, not allowing what they gave to them at the top to get to the bottom, abandoning the people to penury.
To now see such wicked, selfish, greedy, parochial and useless creatures still jostling for appointments, is just unfortunate and deserved to be thoroughly lambasted and lampooned.
If the state must move forward, it must get it right from the Local Government Area governance, where people who will do good to the Grassroot people are out in place to translate governance to the last man standing in the rural area.
Kogi Renewal said, “Why we may not have the power to reach the Governor, we have the conscience to speak out and leave them to their future which some will soon start after this government, when they will be haulled out of government either due to expiration of their tenure or outright removal from office.”
It will also be on record that we alerted the government of this gross indiscipline that they are promoting and we are seriously afraid if the government goes ahead to still empower these cronies of evil people with putting them at the LGA, such will only still leave the Government paranbulating on the same spot.
Once again, we have alarmed, waiting for time and future again to tell, however, the group concluded that “the sweat and stress of those who delivered without funds given to them and still unrewarded will continue to hunt those empowering the wicked ones, and the ones harvesting where they have not down, once again and forever.”
