Thugs loyal to Kogi state governor Yahaya Bello in an attempt to destroy evidence submitted by the SDP lawyers, commissioned thugs to attack the tribunal secretary Mr. David Mike a few minutes ago in Lokoja the state capital.
The tribunal secretary was attacked and all documents with him destroyed, sustained degrees of injuries in an unknown location currently.
Yahaya Bello and his thugs only got to know today that the SDP lawyers outsmarted his planned attack and submitted evidence even before the stipulated time of submission and got the acknowledgement copy which is attached here. The news took the Kogi APC and Yahaya Bello by surprise which resulted in the attack on Mr. David this evening. While all the documents with him are being destroyed, unknown to them back up documents are kept saved and there is no room for panicking.
This is the second attack on officials who are involved in the Kogi election matter within four (4) days in the state capital where the governor lives.
