The Director , women affair, Project Beyond 2023 , Hajiya Hafsat M.B. Usman has rejoiced with the Special Adviser on Agriculture, Hon Abiodun Muftau Yunusa on the successful flag off of this year’s 2023 dry Season farming in the country .
A statement personally issued and signed on Sunday evening by the Woman Leader said the action underscores the importance of dry Season farming in Nigeria in view of the prevailing economic situations.
She commended the team work existing between the Ministers of Agriculture and the presidential aide on Agriculture, stating that with team work, the country stands to benefit alot both from local consumption and will also place it on the road map to export based status.
She further commended the presidential aide for been part of the team that will be taken Nigerian back to the good old days , when bumper harvest during the normal raining season and dry season farming assisted in no small way to the economic stability of the country.
Hajiya Hafsat asked Nigerian farmers both subsistence and mechanised to take advantage of government foresight, that will not only provide all range of foods, but support government efforts to bring down the high cost of foods in the country.
She advised that such laudable synergy between the Ministry and presidential aide should be sustained, as it will transform the country and revert it to the pride of African countries.
