Governor Dikko Umaru Radda has approved the appointment of Alhaji Musbahu Ibrahim Alkali as the Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of the Katsina State Investment and Property Development Company (KIPDECO).
The appointment of Alh. Ibrahim Alkali, according to a press release issued by Ibrahim Kaula Mohammed, the Chief Press Secretary, CPS, to Governor Radda takes immediate effect.
According to the release, Governor Radda appointed the new KIPDECO helmsman based on his track record and professional competence.
The new Managing Director is expected to revive and transform KIPDECO, in line with the Act setting it up.
Radda urged Alh. Ibrahim Alkali to ensure the company plays a leading role in harnessing and exploiting the abundant mineral, agricultural, and human resources for Katsina State’s industrial and commercial development.
“Now that you are on the saddle as its Managing Director, I will be glad to see KIPDECO engaging in activities that would stimulate, promote, and enhance the rapid economic development of our dear State,” Governor Dikko Radda said, while congratulating Alh. Alkali and wishing him well in his new assignment.
