The above listed staff of the Commission have been lodged in the Kogi State Government House since on Wednesday, 18th October, 2023.
Insiders have reveal that Mr. Ibrahim Egbunu, Nicholas Ocholi & Muhammed Adara, who have been contracted by the Governor, are heavily involved in a covert operation aiming to reconfigure and personalize Bimodal Voters Accreditation System (BVAS) devices.
These devices, conveniently stockpiled by Governor Bello, are allegedly set to be clandestinely merged with INEC’s deployment in specific regions such as Okene, Adavi, and Okehi LGA.
We urgently call upon the Chairman of Independent National Electoral Commission, Prof. Mahmud Yakubu to initiate an immediate inquiry into the activities of these mentioned staff members. Additionally, we implore the Department of State Services, the Inspector General of the Nigerian Police Force, as well as all relevant National and International electoral monitoring bodies and security agencies, to take necessary action.
We firmly warn against any attempts to disrupt or manipulate the voices and choices of the people in the forthcoming election through electoral fraud. Any such actions will be met with firm resistance.
