Unlike other states , Kogi Governor, Alhaji Yahaya Bello is set to launch the Kogi state palliatives only for APC card carrying members .
In a notice released tagged special invitation issued on Wednesday indicated that the palliatives distribution holds on Thursday at Muhammad Buhari square in Lokoja the state capital.
The unambiguous message further categorised only APC ward chairmen, secretaries, women leaders, youth leaders, 21 local government party chairmen and the state party chairman for the occasion, leaving other political parties and ordinary kogites.
This is far away from the federal government consternation and use of social register for the people of Kogi state, now reserved for only APC Members to benefit the 5B palliatives and initial 2B released.
The invitation reads:
“SPECIAL INVITATION
This is to specially invite you for Palliative Distributions flag off by His Excellency Alhaji Yahaya Bello, Executive Governor of Kogi State.
Schedule as follows:
✓ Date: Thursday 21/9/2023.
✓ Time : 9:00 am
