A Forum under the umbrella of “Elite Forum” distributes Clothes and other items in support’s of the governorship candidate of the Social Democratic Party (SDP), Alhaji Murtala Yakubu Ajaka, for the November 11 gubernatorial election in Kogi state.

 

Members of the group, comprising of Notable sons and daughters of Kogi extraction that works in different parastatal and ministry’s, whose felt and believed in the practicality and reality of Alhaji Murtala Ajaka political philosophy aimed at repositioning Kogi for the prosperity of the citizens.

 

The group led by Hon Muktar Abdullahi and the spokesperson, Aliyu Gazali Abdulaziz (Ali CBN), said they will mobilize support across the state to ensure Ajaka emerges victorious in the governorship election.

 

Gazali, expressed the desire and commitment of the Elite Forum, to fully support the SDP governorship candidate. He added that delegates were chosen from Local government, wards and units to canvas and mobilize the electorates in support of Ajaka in the forth coming gubernatorial election in Kogi State.

 

Hon. Ademu Agbadi, who is also the Vice President of the Forum expressed their resolve to mobilize people of their respective wards to vote for the SDP gubernatorial candidate.

 

Similarly, residents of Dekina local government where some members of the Forum resides in Kogi, have endorsed the SDP governorship candidate during a solidarity meeting ahead of the election.

 

The neighbours community, Religious leaders, Women and youth groups who had in their delegation took time to pray for him before expressing their unalloyed support

 

The President of the Forum, who was pleasantly surprised by the unalloyed support and endorsement, thanked the neighbours, Religious leaders, Youth groups for their continuous support, He noted that he will take their endorsement so dear to his heart and pledged to make them more proud in peace and prosperity when Ajaka becomes the governor of Kogi State.
