It was an auspicious gathering, as the Women leader was accompanied by a retinue of women, which involved the Edo State Women Leader, Amb. Betty Benson Okoebor; Edo State Deputy Women Leader, Hagia Memuna Momodu; and the National Coordinator of Sister-To-Sister Worldwide, Pst. Mrs. Mabel Obetoh; amongst many others.
Dr. Mrs. Mary Alile, the National Women Leader, admonished the women on the importance of unity amongst the gender, and urged that women sit-up on the issues of societal development, because one way or another, they are a key part of the growth of it.
The ward chairman, NDDC Commissioner Nominee, Hon. Aisowieren; Amb. Sunday Osemwingie (Boston), amongst others; Counselled the National Women Leader on the leverage the ward now has by her being a national figure. He also added that it is of great honour and privilege that the state is blessed with such national right, and plunged that the ward will always support whatever positive agenda laid down by the National Women Leader.
The meeting ended in smiles, as women sang to eulogize the National Women Leader, and prayed her tenure is successful.
