The former Kogi Governor, Alhaji Ibrahim Idris has sent a message of congratulations to the Sultan of Sokoto, His Eminence, Alhaji Mohamed Sa’ad Abubakar 111 on his 67th birthday.
In a message of congratulations issued on Thursday, the former governor described the spiritual leader as a consistent peace maker not only in Nigeria, African continent, but across the globe , saying his fatherly roles as distinct.
He appeal to the Islamic leader to sustain his peace instinct, so as to address the growing act of banditry and kidnapping prevalent across the northern states.
While congratulating the spiritual leader, Idris wished him many more years in the services of his fatherland and global issues.
