First of all, I commend and appreciate you ( Business and your other egg heads) with the wisdom of managing the affairs of this platform, towards achieving the goals of Igala/kogi agenda. I also thank those who have been making positive contributions for Igala unity and for the success of Alh.Muritala yakubu Ajaka at the kogi Nov. 2023 Governorship Election, which he will win, by the grace of God.
It is no longer news, that the most relevant bodies in Igala kingdom, have all declared MURI, as the most formidable, most acceptable, candidate with the right acumen cum humility, to deliver his electoral manifestos, to kogi people.
He did not gain this popularity on a platter of gold. He worked for it years back and this is where the powers of the electorates come in and a big lesson to all of us that, what ever level you find yourself, touch lives either in cash or kind. It is on record that MURI came to the aid of flood victims across the kogi State. Provided solar system to many parts of the state and kindness to others even outside kogi state, even before this time.This is indeed what attracts the electorates to MURI,who has been with them,in times of troubles and believed that he would do it better as the Governor of kogi state.
The good things about the powers of the electorates are that,when their votes are properly used for a good person, employment generation comes in, Development and the economy, would be stimulated. The resuscitation of schools and many other abandoned projects, would come to mind.
One of the most important thing that people do not take note of is that, the powers of the electorates through their votes,can catapult even the minutest individual or social group into relevance and would inspire such individual politician,to work very hard in his kindness,not to disappoint the people that elected him to that position.
The powers of the electorates,can also awaken the politicians,to their constitutional responsibilities and moral balance hence the power of of the electorates can be used,to humble even the most arrogant and powerful politicians.
I want to end here that the electorates in kogi East and most others parts of the state now know that their destinies are in their hands and we should not do anything that would bring us back.
I am happy to read from our think_ tank brother (Business), that at the end, there would be a brotherly talk for our kingdom to have one candidate and if that is the case,no more insults or politics of acrimony.May God continue to protect and direct our steps, towards MURI becoming our elected Governor in kogi state, come Nov.2023.
