The Katsina State Government has taken the delivery of some relief materials donated by the National Emergency Management Agency, NEMA, and will commence distribution today 19th August 2023.
A statement by Ibrahim Kaula Mohammed, the spokesperson of Governor Dikko Umaru Radda, said that the Katsina Government, however cautioned against selling or diverting the relief materials provided for residents of the State.
According to the statement, the relief materials were disbursed under the Phase 1 of NEMA’s Special National Economic and Livelihood Emergency Intervention.

“This is calling on all those who were issued with the collection cards for the local governments mentioned, to submit their cards to their local government chairman.
“The LG Chairmen are the ones who would collect the relief materials from KATSEMA for onward distribution to their people”.
