To ease it’s operation, capacity building among other functions, the National Productivity Centre NPC has procured five state of the arts Hiilux van to it’s state offices.
This was in line with the new leadership zeal under the management of Dr Nasir Raji-Mustapha on assumption of duty in May .
Dr Raji promised to improve the state offices through provision of operational vehicles and conducive office accommodation to ease their activities at the state level.
The Director General described mobility as crucial to the carrying out the statutory functions of the agency inline with it’s mandates particularly in the current dispensation.
The procurement of five Hilux van, the first of it’s kind will rejigged it’s functions both at the national and state level.
Dr Raji who warned that the vehicle was procured strictly for official engagements, said the management will not condone unofficial utilisation of the new acquired vehicles.
The state offices included Lagos, Kwara, Imo, Kaduna and Akwa- Ibom state offices.
