We read a press release from the Benue PDP,wherein the party,through its publicity secretary,Mr. Bemgba Iortyom once again attempted a vile demonstration of his sickening character of hooliganism and attention seeking.
You will recall that Governor Hyacinth Alia had an interaction session with media stakeholders in the state yesterday. Relying on outing, Mr. Bemgba Iortyom attempted to raise issues over one of the most factual reiterations at the occasion where the Governor Hyacinth Alia made it clear that the Benue opposition PDP carries the toga as the “enemies” of the people of Benue.
In a loathsome press statement,Mr. Bemgba Iortyom tried to characterize the pristine personality and standard viewpoint of the Executive Governor as being narcissistic in nature.
In line with the above,we find it necessary to help broaden Mr. Bemgba’s insular,parochial and highly poor quality imagination / interpretation of Governor Hyacinth Alia’s conceptualization of “enemies” and what it entails.
First,with all strength of empiricism,it is no gainsaying that the government and administration of Governor Samuel Ortom ( 2015-2023) has taken Benue State a decade backward by ways lost of its lost vision,uncreative economic agenda setting,narrow mindedness,public deceit of the Benue people with red a microphone and walking stick by the PDP government as well as the stale story of a propaganda “defender” of Benue valley who could only run a miraculous race of ten kilometers to escape from the hands of insecurity vis-a – vis “ fiom,fiom,fiom fiom”!!! “ ne kav ga”??
Similarly,when one thinks of the melancholy and pensiveness associated with Samuel Ortom’s government(PDP) on the issues of non payment of salaries,arrears and gratuities to public servants in the state,amounting to years and billions of Naira,no doubt is left for even a toddler to recognize the agonizing years with which the Benue PDP government under Samuel Ortom took Benue State backward!! Hence,”enemies” of the state!!
Furthermore,wish to make haste to also strengthen Mr. Bemgba’s shoddy sight and inferior perception of what Governor Alia meant by categorizing opposition PDP as “ enemies “ of the state. On this, we wish to let Mr. Bemgba Iortyom and his party know that the PDP government is the worst in financial recklessness without performance. It is in history that the immediate past PDP government,now in opposition,received close to a trillion Naira in the 8 years of that administration. What bothers Governor Hyacinth Alia and every other well meaning Benue indigene is why the government failed to revamp a single industry, empower the youth, and even provide critical infrastructures that would have ordinarily complemented the subsistence survival efforts of the masses,including those who were abandoned by an irresponsible PDP government in the last eight years?? By way of logic and philosophical presentation, Governor Hyacinth Alia is is not in doubt that Benue people have been taken aback for a decade by the PDP in Benue State. Hence,” enemies of the state!!
In terms of loans /borrowing,the Benue PDP under the leadership of “Adorojas” or “Ortomism” borrowed hundreds billions with very excruciating debt servicing conditionalities
for posterity to inherit. The repulsive irony about these loans collected by the past PDP government is that no single project can be identified and linked to such loans as a positive outcome of the borrowing. To any unbiased assessor,there is no doubt that PDP government under the Ortom administration,now in opposition party takes the worst title of “enemies”of the state.
Conclusively,when one takes an assessment of the unendurable and searing looting,brazen theft,primitive embezzlement, diversion and personalization of Benue State Government assets and financial resources by the ousted government of the PDP in Benue State,you will have no option but to describe that party and her opposition elements in Benue today as devil’s incarnate!! It is pathetic to imagine that an outgone government of the PDP in Benue State went away with even the emergency ambulance meant for the government house. Sad to note that government assets like ceiling fans, vehicles,air conditioners,electric bulbs,gas cylinders, furniture,televisions,gas cookers, and even brooms were brutally stolen while those that could not be moved were vandalized by the ousted government of the PDP. While the present government under Governor Hyacinth Alia is still in the processes of recovering and replacing some of these stolen items,there is no doubt that the immediate past Benue PDP government under Samuel Ortom has taken the state aback. Hence, “enemies” of the state.
The fact that the present government is left with no option than to spend billions of Naira on acquiring and replacing these stolen items as new, and hence putting enormous financial pressure on the state resources that would have been invested in others projects in the state is enough proof that captures opposition PDP as ” enemies”!!
We wish to inform the Benue PDP that there is no amount of blackmail,propaganda and falsehoods against the government and administration of Governor Hyacinth Alia will erase the indelible marks of agony implanted in the heart of the Benue people overly by the opposition PDP.
Rev. Fr. Hyacinth Alia is a man of accurate responsible character,orientation,training and commitment to the service of the Benue people under divinity by God,and to that of the constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. His government is cut out to ensure accountability,transparency, open door policies,and the delivery of the objectives of his blueprint.
