Anyigba club 93 has commended the Tertiary Institutions Trust Fund TETFUND management on the ongoing high perimeter fence of Kogi state university, Anyigba, stating that it will protect the new University teaching hospital and other valuables of the institution.
In a letter of commendation to the leadership of the agency by the Head of communication, Mohammed Salau to Arc Sunny Echono he described the intervention as timely and desiring, saying it is only TETFUND that can rescue the over two decades institution.
He urged TETFUND to follow strictly to ensure job specifications and due process, saying the institution is in dire need of development.
He appeal to the agency to step up training and retraining of both academic and non academic staffs, stating that they have been exodus of both categories for obvious reasons.
Salau asked the agency to see to the need for it’s intervention in the 240 bed Kogi state university teaching hospital abandoned eight years ago.
We are in dire need of more intervention in all areas of the state university, saying the university had retarded growth in recent times.
