Moslems have been enjoined to strife to leave an indelible mark on the sands of time while on earth , so as to leave a lasting legacies.
This was the revelation by Moslem cleric at Haram holy mosque in Mecca on Sunday during the 40th day prayers of late Hajiya Hadiza Baba Akor, mother of the immediate past Director General, National Productivity Centre NPC who is performing this year’s pilgrimage at the holy land.
He urged Moslems to endeavor to build monuments ranging from planting of trees, provision of lights , employment opportunities/ empowerment been carried out by Dr Kashim Akor in his area and at large.
He maintained that the late Matriarch lived a fulfilled life while on earth and fulfilled with responsible and responsive children who believed in social services.
The Islamic cleric prayed for the repose of late Hajiya Hadiza Baba Akor, while appealing to family members to continue to pray for the late Matriarch.
Dignitaries on this year’s pilgrimage attended the occasion.
