We have read a publication credited to the supposed state publicity secretary of the PDP in Benue State,Mr. Bemgba Iortyom.
In the said publication,Mr.Bemgba Iortyom attempted a highly ridiculous profiling of the 30 days of the government and administration of His Excellency,Rev. Fr. Dr. Hyacinth Iormem Alia,the Executive Governor of Benue State,so far.
Bemgba Iortyom’s publication raised the following shrewd assessment and issues:
One,he attempted a rather preposterous,callous and mischievous juxtapositioning/ assessment of the administration of Rev. Fr. Dr. Hyacinth Alia alongside those of former Governors George Akume,Gabriel Suswam and Samuel Ortom,with an attempt at discrediting Governor Alia’s unwavering and absolutely perfect instincts and commitment to remedying the aggravated socio-economic rots that were caused by the immediate past government,and inherited by the government and administration of Rev. Fr. Alia.
Furthermore,Mr. Bemgba Iortyom shamelessly attempted to undermine the sincere resolve and pragmatic dedication of Rev.Fr.Alia to attacking the menace of unpaid salaries and pensions as perpetrated by the past immediate government. The false and terribly misleading information by the publicity secretary of the PDP,stating that the commitment of Rev. Fr. Alia to the payment of salaries is half hearted is indeed,a tacit affirmation that Mr. Bemgba Iortyom and the entire Benue PDP will NEVER see Heaven!!
The Benue PDP through Mr. Bemgba Iortyom also went ahead to wishfully and perceptively describe the Governor,Rev. Fr. Alia getting increasingly entangled in self-spurn web of supremacy tussle with stakeholders of the APC,and other matters.
After all said and done by the publicity secretary of the PDP,Mr. Bemba Iortyom,we took an analysis of his negative persuasions as contained in his publication,and we wish to inform the public and good people of the state in particular,as thus:
1. That the intent,contents and presentation emanating from Bemgba Iortyom against the person and administration of Governor Hyacinth Alia are nothing but bye-product of falsehood and an idle hand that scratches the scrotum in the absence of any meaningful thing to do.
2. That Mr Bemgba Iortyom lacks the requisite family upbringing,exposure,experience and intellectual wit to conjure,comprehend,and to have a guide of rational thinking. Suffice to mention that it
Is only a mud brain that would go into a comparison of 30 days government so far, with that of past governors who made 8 years each. In whatever manner that Mr. Bemgba Iortyom may have deemed it to have compared Governor Alia’s government with those of past Governors,it is on record that all such governments and administrations had their peculiar salaries and wages controversies which they could not settle in 30 days of the life of such administrations. It thus becomes significant to take notice that for Rev. Fr. Hyacinth Alia to come on board as Governor,and prioritize the payment of salaries and pensions of workers on first line charge is enough demonstration of his humanistic and patriotic zeal to ending the hydra headed monster of unpaid salaries and pensions,which was gruesomely caused and neglected by successive governments. Without stiffly conceding to the diatribes of Mr. Bemgba Iortyom on the government of Rev. Fr. Hyacinth Alia over the payment of salaries,our investigations and finding have sincerely revealed that as from the 25th of June,2023,Benue State MDAs got their salaries intact,including local government workers.
Unlike other governments which came on board and made the awards of contracts as a top priority(for purposes of getting kick backs)the government and administration of Rev. Fr. Hyacinth Alia is instead bent on fulfilling her obligations,humanistically to the good people of the state. Indeed,the Governor’s resolve to first of all clear salaries and pensions of workers as well as rehabilitate the Internally Displaced Persons who are scattered all over the state is truly a deep show of the humanside of his administration. As of the time of this report, the Governor of Benue State is still in some deep bilateral and multilateral discussions and collaborations with individuals,bodies,government at the centre,as well as donor agencies on how effectively would he return the IDPs back to their ancestral homes.
On the issue of Rev. Fr. Alia getting in the tussle of supremacy with stakeholders in the APC,We wish Mr. Bemgba Iortyom to know that Rev. Fr. Hyacinth Alia,the Executive Governor of Benue State is in firm grip and credible control of his party,administration and government in Benue State!! Anything contrary to this fact,is only but a figment of the blurred vision imaginations of charlatans like him,Bemgba Iortyom !!
As practicable and sincere as the government of Rev. Fr. Hyacinth Alia is determined and set to hit the ground running for new Benue,with clear cut positive destinies for the people,nothing will be allowed to distract the Governor from his objectives. Without prejudices to busy-bodies,speculative journalists and facebook hireling and political mischief makers,let it be known that the dominant preoccupation of Governor Alia as it stands today is to leave marks of credible leaders based on love,unity,peace,tranquility and prosperity of his people and not about supremacy. Above all, in Rev. Fr. Alia lies the fact that GOD IS SUPREME AND NOT HUMANS!!
