Kogi born man of many firsts, influential personality, a fashionista, tireless philanthropist, a Legal luminary, astute Administrator and the Agenyi Attah of Igala kingdom, High Chief, Elder-Elect Ogwu James Onoja SAN, FACrb, PhD…has facilitated the deployment of men of the Nigeria Security &Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) to Ofante -Ogugu community to boost internal security in the area in collaboration with other existing security agencies.
Recall that there was security breaches in the community in December, 2023, where about 6 members of the community that came home for yuletide celebration were kidnapped and that made the organizers of Chief Ogwu James Onoja, Esq, SAN Annual Unyi-Ogugu Football Tournament that attracts people from all walks of life to be put on hold.
Afterwards, alot of security measures had been put in place to forstall a reoccurrence of
the ugly incident and to further fortify these measures hence the deployment of NSCDC to be stationed in the community and operational vehicle provided courtesy of our Big-hearted High Chief of Igala kingdom.
