Katsina State Governor, Malam Dikko Umaru Radda PhD CON, received the management team of DCL Hausa, led by CEO Zaharaddeen Umar Dutsenkura this evening. The meeting marked a significant step in fostering collaboration between the state government and the digital media company, which has established a new office in Katsina.
DCL Hausa, a subsidiary of Dutsen-Kura Communications Ltd, has emerged as a prominent digital media outlet with focus in producing radio and TV programmes for local stations, as well as partnerships with major international media outlets such as VOA, DW, and RFI.
During the meeting, the DCL Hausa team highlighted their commitment to providing job opportunities for Katsina’s youth and their desire to build a cordial relationship with the state government. Dutsenkura emphasized the establishment role in promoting positive change through high-quality journalism that informs, educates, and entertains, while also holding those in power accountable.
Responding to the team, Governor Radda expressed his gratitude for the visit and DCL Hausa’s investment in Katsina. He assured the company of the state government’s readiness to support entrepreneurs investing in the state, particularly those contributing to youth employment.
