The attempt by the Ododo Led government to interfere with the Kogi State Social Democratic Party’s internal affairs is unacceptable.
The move to use the suspended Chairman and other unscrupulous members of the SDP to obstruct the submission of candidate names for the local government election is a blatant disregard for democratic principles. We strongly caution the state government and the compromised Kogi State Judiciary against encroaching on party politics.
The occupants of Lugard House who swore not to follow to the rascality of his predecessor should desist and caution his followers to leave SDP alone.
It is imperative to uphold the right of every party to manage its internal affairs independently and conduct its administrative norms without external manipulation.
We will stand firm in defending our party’s integrity and autonomy in alignment with the Constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria to operate according to our own rules and regulations and not by the discretion and dictates of the Kakistocracy and ‘Thievocracy’ of Kogi State government under Usman Ododo.
Governor ODODO should be more concerned on how to govern the state and harness its natural resources while the time lasts than causing fracas in the SDP, Kogi state chapter.
