The Chief Imam of Ejegbo, Ustaz Idris Yusuf has asked the people of Ejegbo community to pray for Late Hajiya Hadiza Akor who died fourty days ago.
The Chief Imam who stated on Sunday during the 40 day prayers also urged the people of the community and by extension Ankpa to pray for the children she left behind, stating that bearing a responsible and responsive children was germane to a life well lived.
He said the contributions of the late Matriarch and the children was responsible for the large turn out during her death, and burial ceremonies.
Ustaz Idris Yusuf prayed for God’s favor and mercies at the great beyond, praying that Almighty God will reward her with Aljanatul firdaus.
He also asked the people of the immediate community to continue to pray for the progress and development of the family, as they are the symbol of communal services.
In his contributions, the Ag Onu Ejegbo, Alhaji Abdulazeez Onuche said the community had missed the motherly advice of the late Matriarch since her demise.
He appeal to the populace to pray for the children he had left behind, having served diligently well in all areas to the betterment of the community and the entire igala nation.
Highlights of the occasion included prayers, supplications and well wishes to dignataries that attended the occasion.
