The former governor of Kogi state, Alhaji Ibrahim Idris has described the death of former Minister of State Health, Arc Gabriel Yakubu Aduku as a colossal loss to the North , Igala Nation, Nigeria at large.
Idris while reacting to the demise on Monday said the Igala nation has lost a fearless and exemplary leader, who had navigated the politics of northern oligarchy and the country at large.
He further stated that his death will create a big vacuum in the development of the Socio-political and economic emancipation of Kogi and Igala nation.
“Aduku is one of the best brain produced by the Igala nation as an architect,an administrator and a successful politician who had genuine mind for his people come rain and shine.”
The former governor was confident that his death will further unite the Igala nation which he stood for, while asking the family to believe in his good ideals while on earth.
He prayed for the repose of his soul, praying for God’s protection of the family he left behind.
