The 2024 International Women’s day IWD will be celebrated by the National Institute for Legislative and Democratic to honor the Director General, National Institute for Legislative studies NILDS, Professor Abubakar Sulaiman Olarenwaju of HeforShe Award and some notable women.
The program scheduled for Friday March 8, at the headquarters along airport road is in conjunction with the gender and inclusivity unit / training and international cooperation which will anchor the yearly event.
The theme for this year’s event ” inspire inclusion” which included spoken words performance, documentaries, testimonials which will also include highlights of the occasion.
The annual event is celebrated to advance women inclusion globally towards advancing gender equality.
