The esteemed scholar, aged 84, peacefully left this world on Saturday, January 13, 2024, after a brief illness.
Sheikh Malam Makki served as a scholarly companion to Emir of Katsina, Alhaji Dr. Abdulmumuini Kabir Usman, contributing significantly to the intellectual and spiritual fabric of Katsina.
Governor Radda acknowledged the profound impact of Sheikh Makki’s wisdom and guidance, highlighting his pivotal role in fostering religious understanding and harmony within the community.
