Kogi State Chapter of Jama’atu Nasril Islam has congratulated Christians in the State on the celebration of Christmas 2023.
The Islamic body gave the warm message of Goodwill in a Press Release jointly signed by the State Chairman, Ambassador Usman Bello and Secretary, Alhaji Isa Adeboye.
JNI described the occasion as a period for sober reflections and renewal of faith in God adding that Jesus Christ preached peace and good neighborliness hence the need to consolidate on forging unity among mankind.
The organization called for greater efforts in building a virile, peaceful and egalitarian Kogi State devoid of religious rancor and acrimony.
While wishing Christians a hitch free celebration, Kogi State JNI prayed for a peaceful transition period and thanked Governor Yahaya Bello for his massive support to religious organizations in Kogi State.
