Our attention has been drawn to the above news material in circulation on some online blogs purportedly to have taken place in Lokoja on Friday 13th October 2023, where one Hon Kingsley Temitope Ogga, an erstwhile Kogi State Chapter Chairman of the African Democratic Congress (ADC), who was expelled for stealing money meant for the party on various occasions, among other offenses in 2022, purportedly decamped to APC with some inexistent, phantom ADC party members.
The claim that he joined the APC alongside ADC party members is unfounded, given that he has been a solitary figure in the political landscape since August 2022 following his expulsion from the party. It’s important to stress that the pitiful Mr Kingsley Ogga is presently grappling with joblessness and financial challenges, which may have prompted him to make inaccurate claims and seek financial assistance from the APC. Our Campaign Council and the state working committee of our party ADC strongly warn the public once again to steer clear of Mr. Kingsley Ogga and his associates. Any association with him can only bring harm to any party or individual who falls for his tricks. It appears that Mr. Kingsley Ogga has intensified his deceitful activities, especially targeting desperate political parties, now that the state governorship election is approaching.
For the record, we want to affirm that our party’s State Chairman, Comrade John Adaji, is a highly skilled politician, a reputable comrade, and a dedicated party member.
We empathize with the state government and their party candidate Alhaji Usman Ododo, the APC Governorship candidate, as he has also been deceived into associating with a fraudster lacking political credibility. Finally, our sympathy extends to those scammed by Mr. Kingsley Ogga during these difficult times of hunger in the state.
