The Commissioner of Health, Dr. Bishir Gambo Saulawa, explained the nature of the project to newsmen at a briefing today
He said that the Dialysis Centre, when completed, will be one of the best in Northern Nigeria.
According to Saulawa, a similar health facility would also be established in Funtua to carter for patients who need dialysis services.
“For a long time, and before now, our dear State had only four dialysis machines at the Katsina General Hospital.
“By the time the two new Dialysis Centres are completed, we would be having 16 dialysis machines,” he said.
