The construction of Dunamis fly over by the management of the church is an indicator of high level of neglect, government deficiency towards the provision of infrastructure even at the nation’s capital by the Tinubu led administration.
The Allied People’s Movement, APM has also exposed government delay and deficiency in the execution of public projects, so as to amass wealth in connivance with both local and foreign contractors in contract’s implementation.
The party in a statement by the National Publicity Secretary of APM, Abubakar Yusuf berated the Federal government for allowing a pastor of the church of God who has sacrificed himself for the betterment of humanity in the last three decades from the former location uptill the current one muted and carried out such gigantic project, that had religious implications and by extension human development, sustenance.
“It is shameful for government to abdicate its responsibility to Nigerians in the area of infrastructure that affects human life and religious obligations, only to announce to the public that the project will be bankrolled by half to the church .”
“Why carrying out such projects in needless areas and abandoning the areas that needed it linked to religious supplications and human survival, but preferred carrying out such projects in were scarce resources of government are amass by disgruntled public officers.”
“We have had severally how billions of naira are wasted on projects that had no direct bearings on the lives of the people, while abandoning the relevant ones.”
“We are not unaware how it took many years after lives of ordinary Nigerians going to church on are lost on the corridor without recourse to human life and dignity before approval was eventually giving. ”
“It however took the church less than six months to erect a more standard flyover different from the ones the Federal government normally patronize in the heart of the nation. ” the party spokesman stated.
While commending the efforts of Dr Pastor Paul Enenche for his continuous investment in human lives , he urged the Federal government to refund the billions of naira spent on the road belonging to the government in the heart of the nation.
Yusuf said it is an embarrassment before the international communities to see how an individual not a conglomerate or private sector entity invested in human and infrastructural development of such magnitude.
“If it were a free will donation to government, it was not out of place , but government cannot continue to shy away from its statutory obligations at the expense of patriotic Nigerians ” APM , National Publicity Secretary said .
He urged Nigerians to use this opportunity to invest in the alternative by supporting the Allied People’s Movement, APM Presidential candidate, Engr Seyi Makinde not only as a replacement to President Tinubu, but one with high level respect, religious tolerance and human dignity towards Nigerians.
While maintaining that the oyo state governor, Engr Seyi Makinde has done similar things in the state , he promised it’s replication at Federal level when voted as president and not only to gather some religious leaders to endorse President Tinubu in the forthcoming general elections. Yusuf stated.
