The Presidential Candidate of the Allied Peoples Movement (APM), Engr. Seyi Makinde, alongside his running mate, Alh. Lawal Musa Daura and National Leader of the APM, Bauchi State Governor, Senator Bala Abdulkadir Mohammed will be leading other leaders of the Party to the Campaign’s North East Zonal Town Hall Meeting scheduled for Yola, Adamawa State Capital on Saturday, October 10, 2026.
A statement issued by Richard Ihediwa Director of Strategic Communications MDPCO said The APM Presidential candidate is scheduled to meet and interact with party leaders, members, critical stakeholders as well as leaders of thought and various interest groups in the North East geopolitical zone of the country.
The townhall meeting is in furtherance of Engr. Makinde’s RESET NIGERIA Agenda message for a national rebirth that guarantees a more secure, stable, peaceful, productive and prosperous Nigeria.
Since the commencement of the campaign’s Zonal Town Hall meetings on Tuesday, September 22nd 2026 in Katsina, the Katsina State capital for the North West zone before moving to Lafia, the Nasarawa State capital for the North Central zone on Monday, September 28, 2026, the public acceptance, support and solidarity towards the Makinde Candidacy have heightened with the Makinde-Daura Presidential Campaign emerging as the largest and fastest growing opposition movement ahead of the 2027 general election.
Nigerians from across the divide identify in Engr. Makinde a credible alternative to the failed President Bola Ahmed Tinubu-Administration given Makinde’s sterling performance as governor of Oyo state with his massive unprecedented life-enhancing infrastructural and human capital development in critical sectors of roads, education, healthcare, agriculture, transportation, commerce, industry among others which they want replicated at the national level.
The RESET NIGERIA Agenda is therefore a collective action for all Nigerians with vision for a better and greater country of our dream, and a nation that truly and genuinely works for all.
It is against this backdrop that our campaign is confident of Engr. Makinde’s victory in the 2027 Presidential election on the platform of the APM.
