Allied People’s Movement APM has commended Governor Seyi Makinde and APM Presidential candidate for saving Nigeria from a one party state .
The party maintained that as the protagonist of opposition elements, the country is saved from autocratic leadership in a democratic dispensation.
The National Chairman of the party, Alhaji Yusuf Mamman Dantale made this statement in Katsina on Tuesday during the presentation of award by the party’s chairmen in the North-west part of the country.
He said with successful politician like Engr Seyi Makinde, Nigeria will be better off and off the hook of one party country.
According to Dantale ,events unfolding in the country was not good for the development of our nascent democracy, as attempt to turn the nation to one party state by the ruling party was single handedly resisted by Engr Seyi Makinde our Presidential candidate.
While urging Nigerians to join APM towards the “Reset Agenda” of the Presidential candidate, he asked them to take their destinies in their own hands .
He maintained that the singular action and efforts of the APM Presidential Candidate has stabilized democracy in Nigeria.
Opposition according to Dantale is the main stay of our democratic development and dispensation, urging Nigerians to embrace opposition and APM Presidential candidate,, Engr Seyi Makinde.
