Following the defection of Nassarawa South Senator, Ogoshi Anawo from African Democratic Congress, ADC to Allied People’s Movement APM on Tuesday at the plenary , the Senator formally visited the party’s headquarters in Abuja .
The visit, a routine visit to familiarize with the party leadership on Wednesday is with a view to formally identified with the main opposition party .
Anawo who promised to be loyal to the party to deliver not only the Nassarawa South, but the entire Nassarawa state in 2027.
He asked Nigerians to support the party towards next years general elections, stating that the beauty of democracy is opposition participation.
While reassuring the party leadership of unalloyed supports, the party leadership underAlhaji Yusuf Mamman Dantale welcomed the Senator to the APM fold .
He restated the commitment of APM’s slogan of Nigeria First , promising to reposition the party for a better Nigeria.
