Kogi Patriotic Group KPG has admonish the new Minister of Steel Development, Prince Shuaibu Abubakar Audu to adhere strictly to the instructions of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, not to allow anyone take the grace on his appointment as Minister.
President Tinubu who handed down the warning on Monday said their appointment was not based on anyone’s recommendations, and therefore they are not expected to be a sectional leader.
According to Abdul Abdul, already some sections have hijacked the Minister all in the name of recommendations for appointment, and started moving up and down to hold a reception for the new Minster.
This was evidenced on President Tinubu’s reactions when the new Minister prostrated to honor Mr President, stating that they will be no need to hold any allegiance to anyone, no matter how highly placed.
He warned on the consequences of the Minister going against the advise of the President, stating that Kogi can no longer risk the abberation that was orchestrated in the last eight years.
“Those claiming and taken glory of his appointment are displaying a defeatist tendencies, stating that the new Minister need to be firm for this National call .
