Residents of Ogugu Ofante in Olamaboro Local Government Area of Kogi State have expressed renewed hope and appreciation following a significant step taken by Hon. Dr. Abdullahi Ibrahim Ali, Halims towards the construction of a long-neglected road in the community.
Earlier today, contractors acting on the directive of Hon. Halims visited the area to observe, inspect, and assess the condition of the road ahead of its planned construction.
The move is seen as a direct response to years of neglect ,appeals by residents and motorists who have endured the deplorable state of the road.
For a long time, the people of Ogugu Ofante and road users have called for urgent intervention, hoping for leadership that would prioritize their needs.
That hope now appears to be materializing, as Hon. Halims widely recognized for his commitment to delivering the dividends of democracy, has once again demonstrated his responsiveness to the plight of his constituents.
Members of the community, visibly elated during the inspection visit, expressed heartfelt gratitude to Hon. Halims for coming to their aid. Many described his intervention as timely and impactful, noting that the road project will greatly improve transportation, enhance economic activities, and ease the daily struggles of commuters.
