Bola Tinubu’s Government is gradually laying the foundation to become the most corrupt in the history of Nigeria. Everything has become transactional.
A list compiled by Bola Tinubu’s Chief of Staff, Femi Gbajabiamila’s for Board members and Heads of Parastatals, was torn apart and dumped in the garbage by an angry Bola Tinubu after information got to him that Gbajabiamila and few others have been collecting billions to give people political appointments.
Gbajabiamila is accused of collecting $3million for Ministerial nominations and an undisclosed fees for juicy portfolios. Nyesom Wike allegedly paid N14billion for the FCT Ministry. Wike was told he can recoup his money in less than two months selling choice lands.
Insiders in the Presidency told me Tinubu is livid at security reports detailing how Gbajabiamila has been collecting Billions from politicians looking for political appointments. Gbajabiamila is not alone in the scheme. Dele Alake, Seyi Tinubu, Folashade Tinubu-ojo and another close ally of Tinubu from Ile-Ife, are alleged to have been collecting Billions from both politicians and Businessman/women seeking political appointments or favors
The insider confided that Hon. James Faleke has now been asked by the President to compile a fresh list of Board Heads and members.
Faleke was top on the list to be Chief of Staff to Tinubu. But Gbajabiamila’s mom was said to have cried to Tinubu and pressured him to consider his son for the job. But deep down, Tinubu still considers Faleke as a more trusted ally despite appointing Gbajabiamila as CoS.
Recall that, recently I posted how Gbajabiamila went behind and got a memo from Tinubu to compile names for Boards and Parastatals after the SGF, George Akume had created a committee made up of former Governors Atiku Bagudu and Mohammed Badaru to do so.
