No doubt , Rt Honorable Abdullahi Ibrahim Ali, Halims has emerged as a National Figure from the North Central going by the heirachy, political arrangements in the current dispensation.
As a notable House Leader in the House of Representatives at the Legislative arm of government in the 10th Assembly, he was part and parcel of the signing of the much awaited electoral act signed by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu on Wednesday.
Aside been part of inner caucus at the party level that included him at the forthcoming party congresses beginning from the Ward ,State , and National level , Rt Honorable Abdullahi Ibrahim Ali, Halims is now a strong power broker from the region.
This was beyond mere political connotation as a member of the House of Representatives and House Leader, but part of the kitchen cabinet of the green chamber and by extension the Executive arm of government of the country.
Having been recognized under the Renewed Hope Agenda, RHA of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu were he worked tirelessly to install , it is obvious that he is also recognized as the current political leader from Kogi state.
The people of Ankpa federal constituency, comprising of Ankpa , Omala , Olamaboro have not heard it so good, like the current dispensation.
All is now left for them to utilize this great opportunity of either to re-elect and the brighter chance of elevating Rt Honorable Abdullahi Ibrahim Ali, Halims to the Senate.
The elevation is not a new one , as the likes Distinguish Senator Ahmed Lawan, the former Senate President, Barau Jibrin, the current Deputy Senate President, Chairman , Senate committee on appropriation, Senator Solomon Olamilekan Yayi among many others were elevated to the Senate from the House of Representatives since the beginning of the return to democracy in 1999.
Rt Honorable Abdullahi Ibrahim Ali, Halims even have an edge over them having served as a member of the Kogi State House of Assembly, before his elevation to the National Assembly.
No doubt the clarion clamour and call to feature Rt Honorable Abdullahi Ibrahim Ali, Halims as the next Senator from Kogi East in 2027 and 11th National Assembly,which is seamless and glaring.
He is a political heavy weight, sellable to the public with both local , state and National connections, all hands must be on deck to rally round him .
