The Edo state National Youth Service Corps, NYSC Orientation Camp , Okada was elated as the Federal Ministry of Finance Youwin program organized skill development lecture to corps members.
While in Okada , the Edo state orientation camp, corps members stated that skill development, acquisition and capacity building is the only way out of the current economic downturn.
The event which took place simultaneously across the country witnessed a lot of enthusiasm from prospective corps members.
While in Edo , the representatives of both the facilitating organization and Federal Ministry of Finance chargei the new corps members to meditate on their way forward after one year of the program.
While emphasizing on the dearth of white collar jobs in Nigeria, the facilitator said the only way out is to acquire skills that will lead to self sustenance and self reliant.
Highlights of the occasion included the distribution of a book on successful entrepreneurs and the need to be guided by the ethics of such thriving people.
