The ongoing placement of barriers in strategic places across FCT roads is the best thing happening to the nation’s city and long overdue.
The dual advantage of the newly constructed barriers by the Wike led administration in the FCT , aside opening up the beauty of the areas will also contribute to the beauty of the locations.
Aside enhancing the beauty of the FCT, it has reduced to a great extent, the place and threat of insecurity in the nations city particularly from hoodlums who usually take the opportunity of the open areas to perpetrate their nefarious activities.
The new barriers across the FCT roads will also reduce to the barest minimum sanitation problems that has littered the city , particularly as non residents and occupants had turned the roads on major highways to toilets were they are engaged in passing away either human waist , house waits and other waists on government lands .
The barriers when completed will improve the beauty of FCT roads , security and sanity at the same time that will project the image of the nations city in good light.
The multi billion naira barriers project that started from the city centre spread across the town with greenish background is terminating at Dantata bridge from the Lugbe end , Katampe end , Gwarimpa area , Asokoro including some major parts of Central area , satellite and the heart of the town .
The new barriers will enhance the sanitation image of the country, reduced traffic offenders who daily jumped through the major roads either for criminal tendencies and other negative intentions.
The ongoing barrier construction across the FCT will also protect commuters , travellers and shuttlers from been harassed by criminals at the wee hour of the night and early in the morning, when going about their lawful activities.
The Wike led administration in the FCT efforts to continue to protect residents of FCT spanned from road reconstruction, building of terminals and erection of barriers .
The beautification of the FCT , will give a good image before Nigerians and the international communities and visitors who daily throng the FCT on a courtesy, business and other activities that will improve the country’s economy.
