While we are aware of the undoubtedly desperate and mischievous efforts by some political detractors to alter the focus of Rev. Fr. Alia’s good governance drive and determination to deliver the dividends of his political mandate up to the destinations of economic prosperity,transformation and existential equality in Benue State,it high time such detractors took cognizance of the reality that Governor Hyacinth Alia’s responsibility to the Benue people is a highly coveted responsibility of a God,designed by God,and equally been implemented and protected by God. It is also high time such distractors took further cognizance of the fact that no one can fight or detract an ordained leadership of God.
I feel so bad that up to this level of our enlightened political experiences and consciousness of the masses in Benue State and elsewhere,some self serving political individuals in the name of so called Benue politicians have remained regrettably obsessed with the misleading narrative and campaign of falsehood and mischief to the Benue people,that Governor Alia was never a “good politician” to govern the state,only but to cite obnoxious preferences that suit their whimes,caprices and expectations as the so called tenets of good governances,hence forgetting the fact that the Benue people voted Rev. Fr. Alia to permanently change the narrative of the Trojans in the leadership structure,mentality and implementation of Benue advancement agenda,as it hitherto,signified nothing less than a bastardization of the common patrimony of the people of the state.
The recent organized malicious falsehood by some political detractors in Abuja,stating through a press conference that Governor Hyacinth Alia mobilized financial resources with emissaries to go to the National Judicial Commission to mastermind the removal of the Chief Judge of Benue State,did not only signify a pedestrian hallucination, but also a shameless outing that should rather prick the consciences of such evil perpetrators to the reality that the awareness of wise people of Benue State transcends such frail and ailing press conference against Governor Hyacinth Alia.
For a note,findings have revealed that there was no such a plan or any attempt to bribe any of the officials of the National Judicial Service Commission for the removal Chief Judge of Benue State or anything of such. Discreet interviews with officials of the NJC,including judges indicated that no government official from the Benue State Governor or government ever approached any officials of the NJC for the removal of Justice Maurice Ikpambese.
While the heinous agenda of the Abuja press conference held against Governor Alia by his apathetic and purposeless detractors remains as barren as the organizers themselves,it is worthy of note that there may be nothing to say against Governor Hyacinth Alia,that would dissuade the good people of the state from reelecting him for a second term as the sixth democratically elected governor of Benue State,if at all the remote intention of such detractors was after at all to severe Rev. Fr. Alia’s chances of reelection.
Governor Hyacinth Alia’s deep sense of concentration,focus and unimpaired good governance agenda is fully in force and impactfully implementing on the existence of the good people of the state,and there is no going back. Governor Alia’s unflappable and courageous steps,approaches and strategies to addressing the historical nature and challenges of insecurity and that proving protection,peace and stability for the good people of Benue State,will continue to top his goals of achieving growth and development in Benue State. Governor Hyacinth Alia is not oblivious of the complex and chronological dimensions of the menace of banditry attacks and terrorism,which is not even an uncommon security challenge to the entire nation. Hence,his determination and collaborations with relevant stakeholders in security sector,both locally and nationally in urgently curbing this recurrent challenge.
While the Governor Alia may not be necessarily compelled by virtue of his office and nature of insecurity to publicly reveal his actions and renewed strategies in addressing insecurity in Benue State, the successes achieved so far achieved,and more that would be achieved in the quickest time,is without any equivocation that Rev. Fr. Alia believes in actions more than words about security. And let’s give it to him.
While we call on the good people of Benue State remain steadfast and circumspect of the emerging antics and activities of the already failed detractors of the Alia Administration,we call on all your good prayers, support, solidarity and preparation of your voter’s cards to sustain the good governance agenda of Governor Hyacinth Alia for 2027 continuation.
