Earlier today, we paid New Year homage to the President and Commander-In-Chief of the Armed Forces of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, His Excellency Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR, at his Oyinkan Abayomi Drive residence in Ikoyi, Lagos.
During the visit, the President said his administration was encouraged by our support over the last 19 months and reiterated his determination to take Nigeria to the Promised Land.
Mr President pledged to work harder, embrace intellectual inquisitiveness, and make courageous decisions for national development.
President of the Senate, Senator Godswill Obot Akpabio, GCON, who led us, commended the President for his courage and commitment to address our country’s challenges, assuring Mr President that the National Assembly is firmly behind his administration for the country’s transformation.
