The Deputy Leader of the House of Representatives and Member Representing Ankpa, Omala and Olamaboro Federal Constituency of Kogi State, Rt. Hon. Abdullahi Ibrahim Halims has charged Christians and none Christians but alike faithfuls to prioritise the show of love to the less privileged around them.
The Deputy Leader made the call in a Yuletide message issued by his Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, Comrade Muhammed Nasiru Adejoh at Abuja on Wednesday as the Federal Lawmaker noted that charity, fellowship and sacrifice are the ideal essence of Christmas and other feastful celebrations.
According to the statement, yuletide is a time for self examination, gratitude for life and rededication to God for the year ending and the one coming ahead.
Thus, Rep Halims enjoined his constituents and the Nigerians at large to pray for the peace, unity and prosperity of Nigeria stressing that there cannot be any meaningful development without these cardinal orders.
He equally called on constituents to be security conscious, wary of their engagements during this period and collaborate with the relevant security agencies on intelligence gathering with a view to ensure a serene season devoid of any security threat or challenges.
While looking forward to a prosperous 2025, the Deputy House Leader appealed to all patriots not to lose faith in the economic stability of Nigeria assuring that the Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s renewed hope agenda is a promised prosperity adding that on his part, He remains determined to improve the socio-economic life of the good people of Ankpa, Omala and Olamaboro Federal Constituency.
