The annual igala Education Foundation summit for 2024 is scheduled to hold by December , 30 , 2024.
The event scheduled to take place at Professor Francis Idachaba Lecture Theater, Prince Abubakar Audu University PAAU, Anyigba .
This is sequel to a statement signed by members of the Local Organizing Committee LOC headed by Mr Lawrence Achimugu, Alhaji Sulaiman Ibrahim and others.
The Guest Speaker for the occasion will be Professor Armstrong Idachaba, former Director General, National Broadcasting Commission NBC and now of the Department of Media and Communication, and Dean Faculty of Management Sciences , Veritas University, Abuja , with other discussants , Dr Victor Alewo Adoji, Mr Moses Ogwu and Professor Philip Ojonyi Achimugu.
The theme of this year’s event is “Leveraging Information Communication Technology (ICT) for Education and Employment among Igala Youths; Problems and Prospects .”
The Special Guest of Honor will be Kogi state Governor, Ahmed Usman Ododo and other dignataries.
The event will witness presentation of award to first class and distinction students to igala and Bassa students from the University and Polytechnics, aside affiliated ones.
