KFSSA Names House Deputy Leader Patron ,
As Lawmaker Receives Okaba National Working Committee On Separate Visits
The Kogi State Forum of Senior Special Assistants(KFSSA) has named the Deputy Majority Leader of the House of Representatives, Rt. Hon. Abdullahi Ibrahim Halims as its forum Patron during a courtesy call visit to the lawmaker who doubles as the member representing Ankpa Federal Constituency of Kogi State.
In his mission statement while in the Deputy House Leader’s office at the House of Representatives wing of the National Assembly, the KFSSA Chairman, Hon. Yahaya Shehu Ahmed disclosed that the forum ratified the appointment of their host as a Patron in due recognition of his sterling performance which does not only endear him to them but everyone who appreciates good governance across the state.
Hon Ahmed added that as a worthy Ambassador of the state, the forum is very proud of him and appealed for his patronage of their pet project which is tagged Governor Ododo Business Outreach (GOBO).
In a related development, Okaba National Working Committee (ONWC), led by Alhaji Musa Salihu paid a courtesy call on the Federal Lawmaker and among other things, appealed for his intervention against erosion menace as well as the construction of a 2KM linkage road that connects Okaba to Onupi.
The Deputy House Leader in his separate responses reaffirmed his commitment to the advancement of the electorates, charged the KFSSA to be mindful of the grace of God upon them by virtue of their appointments in order to justify the confidence reposed on them by HE Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo. He equally assured the ONWC of his renewed will to serve his people adding that he is not oblivious of the fact that Ounpi PU01 casted the highest votes for him per polling unit in the 2023 election. Thus, the ONWC’s appeal is a political penalty awarded in his favour.
