The Eje of Ofu, His Royal Highness, Akwu Obaje has advised the Igala nation to demonstrate leadership and followership qualities while in the office directly or indirectly.
He dropped this hint on Monday during the coronation of the Wife of former DG NPC, Dr Kashim Akor FNIM.NPOM at Ugwolawo to mark his five years on the throne, stating that she influenced her husband to carry out both economic, social and infrastructural development of the entire Igala nation.
While commending Dr Kashim Akor, the former Director General, National Productivity Centre NPC for a job well-done, he acknowledged the contributions of the wife towards the good gestures.
The Eje of Ofu described the new Iye- Onyete as well deserved, while urging igalas to emulate her good traits.
Highlights of the occasion included the coronation ceremony and other side attractions.
