A media consultant, Abubakar Yusuf has accused the publishers of Sahara Reporters for not verifying the authenticity of the report accusing an Abuja Pastor , Amos Isah of raping a 11 years old girl in his church at Gwagwalada,stating that it was a mere connivance, collaboration and an attempt to tarnish the image of Pastor Amos Isah by some former members of the church, who have left the church, saying the lady accused of been raped is a 21 years old girl .
He further revealed that the lady in question the Abuja Pastor was accused of raping was in the media department of the church and under the scholarship of the Abuja Pastor, Amos Isah.
According to his media release on Monday evening, He said the connivance begins when one Oloche, a member of the church was advised by the pastor not to marry one Sarah , who lost her pharmacist husband, one Samsel last year , but did not go down well with Oloche , who left the church and started planning against the popular pastor
He said the names Oloche and her Sarah friend had made several efforts to harm the Abuja Pastor through series of attacks by hoodlums and armed criminals against the pastor in Gwagwalada.
According to the journalist, on many occasions, hoodlums have attacked and threatened to kill pastor Amos Isah, as one of the attacks 2M was carted away, with his car badly damaged.
He accused the police and other security agencies in Gwagwalada of connivance to convict pastor Amos Isah, stating that the pastor is innocent of what former members of the church are accusing him of.
He condemned the involvement of Sahara Reporters in the report without verification and clarification from the other parties, stating that pastor Amos Isah is innocent of what ever allegations been leveled against him .
He called on the Inspector General of Police , Kayode Egbetokun for a thorough investigation of the case by the police headquarters, rather than those in Gwagwalada, accusing them of been bribed to stage manage and set up the pastor .
