In the legislative arena, the name of Rt. Honorable Ali Abdullahi Halims resonate with so much pride and accomplishments owing to the impacts his position in the House of Representatives and positively benefiting his people of Ankpa, Omala, Olamaboro Federal Constituency and indeed the whole of Kogi East Senatorial Districts.
This lawmaker with uncommon zeal and love for his people has done lot for them; prominent amongst which is the provision of about 500 jobs/employment to citizens of Kogi State extract at both the State and Federal Government levels.
Other areas of intervention are in the provision of fertilizers and other farm inputs to farmers, especially in the rural areas to boost agricultural and massive food production. In addition to providing food items to mitigate the sufferings at the grassroots level, he’s installing solar street lights across the 3-LGAs that makes up that constituency.
He’s also credited with moving critical motions at the house plenary that will usher economic revolution and infrastructural developments in Igala land and beyond.
He’s also constructing a 10-Kilometer road to connect Emekutu in Ankpa LGA to Olla in Omala LGA amongst other numerous projects, under the auspices of Hon. Aminu Haruna of Halims Progressive Movement.
Also worthy of note is his commitment for the creation of Okura State from the present Kogi State. This proposals has been in the pipeline for sometime now but Hon. Halims has taking the campaign to an enviable position/level never experienced before.
Little wonder that several organisations are giving up to award this extraordinary lawmakers deserving awards of excellence and good representation.
As the saying goes, a child that washes his hands clean definitely eats on the same table with elders, no doubt different bodies lining up to give him awards.
Rt. Hon. Halims has clearly mapped his legislative activities as he’s set to unveiled them as the National Assembly is set to resume from the Easter break.
