The Special Adviser to Benue State Governor on Research , Documentation and Strategy,
Dr. Mkor Aondona Donatus- has confirmed the endorsement for a second term in office of Benue State Governor , Rev Fr Alia over payment of backlog of pension arears.
In a post on Monday , Dr Mkor stated that Benue Pensioners who were hitherto declared “dead” was “resurrected” by the Governor , hence their endorsement for a second term.
They commended the present administration for prioritizing the welfare of both serving and former civil servants, who had served the state diligently.
The beneficiaries pensioners who got their pension and gratuities were denied by the previous administration of Governor Ortom.
“Yesterday, 13th Jan; 2025, Benue State pensioners who were once declared “dead” and denied their pensions and gratuities by the immediate past Ortom administration in Benue State.”
“But however,“resurrected” and paid all their pensions and gratuities by the present Alia Administration , have unanimously endorsed Rev Fr. Alia for a second term reelection as Governor of Benue State, 2027-2031.”
