In continuation of his penchant towards quality education and to provide a conducive learning environment for high school students, the Deputy Leader of the House of Representatives, Rep. Abdullahi Ibrahim Halims who doubles as Member Representing Ankpa, Omala and Olamaboro Federal Constituency of Kogi State has completed a whole renovation of the administrative block of Government Technical College Ankpa.
According to a media report issued by the Deputy Leader’s Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, Comrade Muhammed Nasiru Adejoh, the completed renovation is in addition to the ongoing construction of sixteen units of classrooms blocks across Ankpa, Omala and Olamaboro Local Government Areas.
It can be recalled that in the last(9th National Assembly)dispensation, the Federal Lawmaker among other endeavours towards educational development distributed multi million naira worth of scientific equipment to government secondary schools in his constituency. Rt. Hon Abdullahi Ibrahim Halims during these gestures described science education as the bedrock of every society’s advancement as he encouraged parents and guardians to enroll their wards into JETS (Junior Engineering and Technical Scientist) clubs in these schools.
